RARE performs a special blend of r&b, funk and latin jazz.
Our live shows are created by players with over 40 years experience. For 15 years, the group
was known as VINTAGE.
After the departure of several members in 2010 and
2011, the band reformed and we changed the name to RARE.
We make music that respects the old school traditional styles of R&B and Funk of the 1960s and 1970s
combined with the nu school sounds of today's Hip Hop and Pop music.
Add a touch of latin/afro-cuban and you have a RARE blend of music.
In other words, we like to party! And that's what
you get at our shows. GET UP AND GET DOWN!
